6 Things to Watch After "When Calls the Heart"
On May 9th, When Calls the Heart wrapped up its 8th season. For us TeamNathan fans, it was a bitter day, watching Elizabeth choose barkeeper, Lucas Bouchard, concluding its three year love triangle. Many are threatening to boycott season nine, and completely quit on the show. If you're sad about the finale, or just want something else to watch that's similar, this is the post for you! Read on reader!
1) The Love Comes Softly Series
Also created by Janette Oke, this is honestly the second best to When Calls the Heart, if not THE best. If you'll remember, with When Calls the Heart, it kind of got more modern as the series went on. Not so with this series.
I also love the faith content, and all the main characters. Just as clean as When Calls the Heart, with romance, and family, this series will not disappoint.
2) Little Men
Little Men was such a lovely surprise! We found this on Prime when we were looking for a good, wholesome series. The recently widowed Jo March Behr continues to run the school she and her late husband founded a school for boys. So clean, but really the only issue is that there are only two seasons, haha. Currently on Amazon Prime.
3) Little House On The Prairie
*Feeling all nostalgic* You know about this obviously, but like how could I possibly make this list without it? Currently, you can watch them free with ads on IMBD.
I just love this 9 season series. It is favorite TV show everrrr. The great thing about this is that you won't run out very quickly...with 20-21 episode seasons, and 3 full length movies, you'll have something to watch for awhile with this series!
4) The Magic Of Ordinary Days
Pregnant out of wedlock, an educated young woman is pressured by her father into an arranged marriage with a lonely farmer. I discovered this gem awhile back, and it went on the become one of my favorites.
*Trigger Warnings violence, and mentions of pregnancy without knowing the father.

5) Little Women 2019
The first adaption that I ever watched and so well filmed and acted. A sweet movie.
6) The Waltons
Another classic show to rewatch from your childhood, The Waltons is an American historical drama television series about a family in rural Virginia during the Great Depression and World War II. Following the adventures of a large family called the Waltons.
